Ball Screw Products

STAR Ball Screws provide technical designers with diverse solutions for positioning and transport tasks. Affordable system design is made easy with the following different grades:

	Precision rolled screws T5(P5), T7, T9 (available from stock).
	Precision ground Screws P1, P3, P5 (made to order).
	Preloaded single nuts.
	Adjustable-preload single nuts, interchangeable (patented).

Affordable precision-rolled screws replace ground-thread screws in a wide range of application areas. In addition, preloaded single nuts or patented adjustable-preload single nuts are more cost efficient than double-nut systems. Interchangeable STAR nut units and off-the-shelf precision-rolled screws guarantee short delivery periods for complete ball screw assemblies.

eLINE Ballscrews

eLINE Ball Screws are available from stock as complete assemblies, with screw-in or flanged nuts. The pre-finished machining is easily combined with the fixed bearing LGL (support block with bearing) as a complete package. The eLine products can simplify the choices for many customer-specified transport applications. Relaxed tolerances provide very economical linear motion solutions. Every nut is assembled with clearance. With seals. Cost savings are always a priority with the eLINE.

Profiled Rail Products

STAR manufactures its guide rails and runner blocks with such high precision, especially in the ball track zone, that each individual block and rail can be interchanged. This makes infinite combinations possible within each accuracy class. Each element can be individually ordered and separately stocked. Both sides of the guide rail can be used as datum surfaces.

STAR Ball Rail^® Systems were specially developed for use in machine tools and industrial robots calling for compact, rolling-element linear motion guide ways. Ball Rail Systems are available in up to five accuracy and four preload classes, each with very high load carrying capacity and high rigidity.

These compact systems are available in 8 industry standard sizes and offer the same high load ratings in all four main load directions.

Integrated Measuring System

Star Ball Rail® and Roller Rail® Systems can be supplied with an integral inductive linear measuring system. This combines measuring and guide systems, all in one unit.

eLINE Ball Rail Systems

The new eLINE Ball Rail^® System is the perfect choice when a bushing is not enough, and standard linear guides are too much. Not just simply less expensive Ball Rail,eLINE is the high-performance system for applications where higher levels of precision and speed are not required. It has all the advance engineering that has made Bosch Rexroth a leader in linear motion.

Linear Bushings

STAR Super Linear Bushings are with hardened steel segmental bearing plates and ground ball tracks. Together with the optimized ball entry zone, these provide unbeaten smooth running. STAR Super Linear Bushings are self-aligning, they automatically compensate alignment errors up to 30'.

STAR Precision Steel Shafts are induction hardened and ground. As machine elements for linear motion guide ways with STAR Linear Bushings, they have a long and proud service record, but they also offer advantages when used in other applications such as guide rods, control rods, rollers, pistons, axles, guide pins, tie rods, spindles, guide columns and other similar applications.

STAR Shaft Support Rails are designed to support the shafts on which open STAR Linear Bushings run to prevent them from bending under load. They can be supplied in aluminum alloy or steel, with or without flange, as well as in an extra-flat version.

Various series have been engineered for use with Standard, Super or Radial Linear Bushings, as well as with Radial Compact Sets. They can also be supplied with the shaft already fitted.

eLINE Linear Bushings and Shafts are a refinement of the well-known Linear Bushings and Shafts range. The Linear Bushings and Linear Sets are supplied in zero-clearance versions. They come pre-lubricated and are therefore lubed for life.
